LANZONE MORGAN, LLP is a law firm whose practice is primarily focused on litigating cases throughout California and Arizona on behalf of elderly
and dependant adults (and their families) who have been subjected to abuse and/or neglect. Often abuse and neglect are manifested by certain injuries
such as pressure sores, unexplained bruising, fractures, dehydration, malnutrition, and poor hygiene. Elder and dependent adults are also too often

OUR ATTORNEYS
ANTHONY C. LANZONE
Mr. Lanzone received his juris doctorate degree from Western State University College of
Law in 2001. During the course of his studies, he also attended Pepperdine University School
of Law, completing course studies on mediation and alternative dispute resolution at the
Strauss Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution in 2001. After graduating from San Diego
State University in 1994 with a Bachelor's Degree in Arts & Letters (Political Science and
English), Mr. Lanzone worked for a development company conducting property feasibility
studies and developments of residential and commercial properties.
While attending law school, Mr. Lanzone worked for the prestigious litigation firm of Girardi | Keese in Los Angeles.
He worked on a number of trials involving medical malpractice, products liability, insurance bad faith and catastrophic
injury. His appellate skills were also utilized by successfully opposing appeals to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal and
Supreme Court of the United States in Reynolds Metals Co. v. Ellis (9th Cir. 1999) 202 F.3rd 1246, cert. petition
withdrawn 2001, Case No.99-1787.
In 2002, Mr. Lanzone joined another prestigious litigation firm called Wilkes & McHugh, P.A., which was named by
the National Law Journal among the Top 20 Plaintiffs' firms in the United States. As a senior associate at Wilkes &
McHugh, P.A. in California, Mr. Lanzone focused his practice on the litigation of elder abuse and neglect cases. His
passion for trial advocacy flourished during his
tenure at Wilkes & McHugh. In 2004, Mr. Lanzone was co-trial
counsel in Hernandez v. Upland Rehabilitation & Care Center, where
a San Bernardino County jury awarded his clients
$247,000 in compensatory damages and $500,000 in punitive damages. In 2005, Mr.
Lanzone was co-trial counsel
in Morris v. Longwood Management Corporation; Tzippy Care, Inc. dba Western Convalescent Hospital,
where a Los
Angeles County jury awarded his clients $747,000 in compensatory damages and $12,000,000 in punitive damages.
The Consumer Attorneys of California named Mr. Lanzone a 2005 Finalist for the California Consumer Attorney of the
Year Award.
Los Angeles Magazine named Mr. Lanzone one of the Top Southern California Lawyers in July 2006.
Mr. Lanzone is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and was previously affiliated with the Orange County
Trial Lawyers

JAMES M. MORGAN
James M. Morgan represents injured people and their families who have
suffered injuries or death due to the following: (1) nursing home abuse and
neglect, (2) hospital abuse and neglect, and (3) injuries and wrongful death
from automobile accidents, construction accidents, or other accidental
injuries or death. Mr. Morgan does NOT represent large corporations or
insurance companies.
Mr. Morgan previously served as the managing attorney of the California
offices of both Wilkes & McHugh, P.A. and The Maher Law Firm, P.A., where
the focus of his practice was on holding nursing homes and hospitals
accountable for the abuse and neglect of elder and dependent adults.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Morgan's efforts have helped lead to more
than $60 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of abused and
neglected elderly adults. In May of 2008, Mr. Morgan obtained a verdict in
excess of $5.5 million for the surviving daughter
of an elderly adult who
passed away after being given the wrong medication while in a nursing home.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Morgan worked as a research attorney
for the Honorable Warren K. Urbom, Senior District
Judge, United States
District Court for the Federal District of Nebraska. He also served as a law
clerk for the Honorable Harold S.
Herd, retired Kansas Supreme Court
Justice.
Mr. Morgan received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, in 1991 from
Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama.
He received his
Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, in 1997 from Washburn University
School of Law in Topeka, Kansas.
Mr. Morgan is a published author, including co-authoring an article titled,
"Distinguishing Elder Abuse Claims from Professional Negligence Claims: Why
Section 425.13 Does Not Apply to Elder Abuse Claims." Mr. Morgan has also
authored a published article
entitled "Tortious Interference with a
Prospective Contract in Kansas: Is Actual Malice an Element of This Cause of
Action?" 36

Mr. Morgan is licensed to practice law in California, Arizona, New Mexico,

ASSOCIATE ATTORNEYS
LISA R. COLOSI
 Mrs. Colosi attended law school in Miami, Florida and in El Escorial, Spain, before graduating from law school at West Virginia College of Law in December of 2002.
Mrs. Colosi began a private personal injury practice in West Virginia and litigated many cases to completion in those first five years. In 2008, Mrs. Colosi moved to California and returned to law school for her LLM degree at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California. She and her family loved southern California and its people so much they moved here permanently. She began practicing civil litigation in California and joined Lanzone Morgan, LLP in 2011.
Mrs. Colosi has handled over 100 personal injury lawsuits and has tried many cases to completion. She continues in a life committed to protecting the rights of elder and dependent adults.
Mrs. Colosi is an attorney with good standing and is licensed to practice before all courts in the State of California.
RICHARD F. INGLE
Mr. Ingle is an experienced litigator who specializes in complex health care and business litigation matters. Mr. Ingle holds healthcare professionals responsible for the harm they cause patients and their families, prosecuting lawsuits against hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, residential care facilities, and individual health care practitioners. He also represents elders in cases based on financial elder abuse.
In addition to healthcare litigation, Mr. Ingle helps clients resolve complex business disputes and litigates claims based on products liability, premises liability, and unfair business practices.
Mr. Ingle received his law degree from Seattle University School of Law, where he also participated in Moot Court. He received his undergraduate degree from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), with an emphasis in history and business administration. Before he began practicing law, Mr. Ingle worked at Merrill Lynch, where he created and managed institutional investment portfolios.
Mr. Ingle is licensed to practice law in California and Wisconsin.
SUZANNE B. LANZONE
Mrs. Suzanne Lanzone earned her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley, graduating in 1992. Thereafter, she earned her juris doctorate degree at Temple University, graduating in 1995.
In the Fall of 1995, Mrs. Lanzone worked at the prestigious law firm of Girardi | Keese in Los Angeles. She developed her litigation skills while working on medical malpractice claims, products liability cases, and toxic tort cases. Mrs. Lanzone's litigation skills expanded as she worked through catastrophic injury cases. Mrs. Lanzone also handled multi-plaintiff toxic tort actions involving complex legal issues.
In 1998, Mrs. Lanzone continued her legal career in litigation as an associate with Kelegian & Associates. Mrs. Lanzone worked on cases involving sexual harassment in the workplace, medical malpractice, and products liability cases. She has also practiced construction defect litigation representing some of the largest real estate developers in Southern California.
In 2001, Mrs. Lanzone opened her own solo practice handling matters of civil litigation including personal injury, family law, probate
law, landlord tenant, and real estate law. Lanzone Morgan LLP welcomed her to the law firm in 2010, where Mrs. Lanzone continues
to handle such matters on behalf of her clients.
AMBER THAM
Amber Tham earned her juris doctorate, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2009. She received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, double-majoring in English and Legal Studies, in 2005.
While attending law school, Ms. Tham extensively developed her skills in legal research and writing by serving as a Lead Editor for The Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly and publishing a student note. She also completed an externship with the Hon. Randall J. Newsome, Chief Judge for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Northern District of California.
After graduating from law school in 2009, Ms. Tham joined Lanzone Morgan, LLP, to help advocate for protecting the rights of elderly citizens of our community who have been neglected and abused by nursing homes and other long-term
care facilities.
Ms. Tham is an attorney with good standing and is licensed to practice before all courts in the State of California and Nevada. Ms. Tham is also an active member of the American Association of Justice, Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Orange County Bar Association.
